Gather Wellness specializes in small group yoga, fitness, and dance classes in an intimate, welcoming environment.  Our classes are designed to accommodate all bodies, ages, and fitness abilities.  We are an inclusive and affirming studio.

Chair and Mat Combo

Our chair/mat combo classes are designed for yogis with limited mobility or who might be uncomfortable practicing on a floor.  Our classes offer basic yoga mat stretches along with modified chair poses for a gentle but energizing full body workout.

Heated Yoga Flow Fundamentals

This lightly heated (approximately 90 degrees) yoga flow introduces the fundamentals of Vinyasa yoga while our heated studio allows your joints to open and stretch more fully.

Yoga Basics

Our yoga basics class introduces asanas (poses) and basic yoga flows with an emphasis on correct posture, body alignment, and breathing while building strength and flexibility.  Students will also explore yoga concepts such as chakras, nidas, sutras, and the Sanskrit terms for popular poses.

Afternoon Deep Stretch 

This yin yoga class invites students to hold stretches for longer intervals to maximize flexibility and muscle movement.  Special attention is paid to the breath and how poses make the body feel.  Props are occasionally used in class to help deepen stretches and provide serious relaxation.

Kundalini Yoga

An uplifting blend of spiritual and physical practices, Kundalini Yoga incorporates movement, dynamic breathing techniques, meditation, and the chanting of mantras, such as Sat Nam, meaning “truth is my identity.” The goal is to build physical vitality and increase consciousness.

Hot Yoga

This intense and energetic class takes yogis through yoga flow in a heated (90-95 degrees F) studio.  Students will work on strength, stamina, and flexibility through traditional yoga poses and vinyasa flow. 

Best for healthy beginners or experienced yogis. Call or email the studio if you aren’t sure.

Pilates is a method of exercise that consists of low-impact flexibility and muscular strength and endurance movements. Pilates emphasizes proper postural alignment, core strength and muscle balance. Pilates is named for its creator, Joseph Pilates, who developed the exercises in the 1920s.

PiYo blends typical Pilates mat exercises with yoga poses and flow.  Students work on flexibility and balance as well as core strength.
